Newly signed Center Kwame Brown has been injured just weeks before the NBA training camps begin. Sources close to the action state that brown injured his left ankle in a pick up game. He is expected to miss 4-6 weeks of action and hopes to be ready to go by the 1st or 2nd week of the season.

Even as owner Michael Jordan tries to resurrect this kids career he still is followed by bad luck. he seems to be the epitome of "if I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all". The sooty develops and we will see if the Bobcats make any additional moves to combat the injury as they released Eric damper less than two weeks ago and are already weak at the center spot.

New Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan has been dealing this off-season like a seasoned card dealer in a high stakes Las Vegas game of Poker! He has feverishly attempted to clear roster space and free up cap space so that the Cats can finally start to bring some attributable talent to town and the bar has been set with the recent signing of a legend. Jordan already has one Brown in town with Head Coach Larry Brown deciding to stay in town and continue on as coach, after word on the street had him signed, sealed and delivered to Philadelphia during the summer, and now he continues adding to the Brown-Clan. After giving it a lot of thought, Mr. Kwame Brown has decided to take his talents to Charlotte to reunite with Jordan just a little further South of where the two originally began their ill-fated marriage nine years ago.

Kwame Brown, signs a one year deal for the veteran minimum of $1.3 million on Monday, August 23, 2010 and subsequently was introduced to the Queen City as a Bobcat on the following Tuesday donned in Jordan-gear. Brown, made NBA history in 2001 when he was drafted by the Washington Wizard, with Jordan at the helm of the brain-trust, as the first player to be drafted #1 after skipping college and going directly to the NBA. After fielding offers from two additional teams in the last couple of months Brown decided that the Jordan-led Bobcats would be the best fit to continue his career. Browns agent Mark Bartlestein added "we think this a critical year for Kwame to get his career turned around and headed in the right direction!"

Now the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics are not the only teams in the East making noise this off season as the Cats are making moves and taking names! It is going to be interesting to see what Brown is going to be able to add to the offense and/or defense as he and his career 6.7 pts. and 5.4 rbs. per game aren't numbers that are going to make Dwight Howard wince or keep Dwayne Wade OR Lebron James out of the paint. I am not sure what promise the Bobcats see in Brown at  this point of his career as he is a ten year veteran that has yet to put together a solid season worthy of being referenced as a #1 pick, without having a dreaded four letter word follow behind it....BUST!!!

Former Bobcats PG Raymond Felton has taken his ball and landed in the land of big lights and big city, New York! The UNC product has signed a two year deal reportedly worth around 15 million with the opportunity to max out at approximately 16 million.
February 20, 2010 Milwaukee, WI. Bradley Center..Charlotte Bobcats Raymond Felton brings the ball up the court, Felton had 10 point and 4 assists in the game against the Bucks..Milwaukee Buck won over the Charlotte Bobcats 93-88. Mike McGinnis/CSM.
When the team introduced Felton to the NY press he stated " This is my dream job. I'm here in NY and this is where I waned to be. This is the type of system and type of atmosphere I wanted to be in, there's no question about that." Felton likely will move into the starting PG position where he will feed newly acquired PF Amare Stoudemire, 7'1 Russian Center Timofey Mosgov and the sign and trade acquisition of Anthony Randolph who has been called "special" by team president Donnie Walsh on various occasions even prior to the sign and trade of David Lee that sent Lee to Golden State. The Knicks are gearing up for a strong season with the signing of Felton to run the show and look to make some noise in the Conference that has become the Ultra-Strong East. The Western Conference is on notice!

In a move that is sure to please all gamers ESPN and its 2K series is attempting to garner the video services on none other than your Bobcats owner, Mr. Michael Jeffrey Jordan.

The network is currently in talks with past opponents and teammates of Jordan to see who they can sign in order to make the deadline to ensure that they are all included in the release of the game. ESPN has stated that they want to have Jordan grace the cover in his classic #23 Bulls jersey. It would be awesome to see the old series that included the Bulls, Lakers, Celtics and Knicks back on the tube and have control, finally, of Jordan's skills.
